Enquanto isso, o\u00a0<em>Siberian Times<\/em>\u00a0foi ao local \u2013 que eles chamam de \u201ca cratera no fim do mundo\u201d \u2013 e capturou imagens e v\u00eddeo que revelam mais detalhadamente como \u00e9 a parte interna.<\/p>\n<p>Andrey Plekhanov, pesquisador s\u00eanior do Centro Estadual Cient\u00edfico de Pesquisa do \u00c1rtico,<a href=\"http:\/\/siberiantimes.com\/science\/casestudy\/news\/first-pictures-from-inside-the-crater-at-the-end-of-the-world\/\" target=\"_blank\">disse ao\u00a0<em>Siberian Times<\/em><\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A cratera tem uma forma mais oval que circular, tornando mais dif\u00edcil calcular seu di\u00e2metro exato. A partir de agora, nossas estimativas s\u00e3o de aproximadamente 30 m. Se tentamos medir o di\u00e2metro juntamente com a emiss\u00e3o do solo\u2026 ent\u00e3o o di\u00e2metro \u00e9 superior a 60 m. A cratera tem entre 50 e 70 m de profundidade.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A cratera tem um lago gelado na sua parte inferior: a \u00e1gua cai de suas paredes de\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pergelissolo\" target=\"_blank\">pergelissolo<\/a>em eros\u00e3o.
